Since I have a 3 day break from baseball i'm going to post a quick update on how the season's are going. Kasen's team is doing pretty well. They have won 3 and lost 2 machine pitch games and they are 1-1 in kid pitch. The season started with machine pitch and just as they were getting the hang of it they switched to kid pitch. Currently they are 4th in the standings. In the first kid pitch game Kasen got the pitch the first few innings and he was in high heaven. He is thinking that he is pretty dang cool now that he is playing "real baseball" like his older brother. They have 5 games left (1 being machine pitch) and hopefully more go our way than not. Peyton's city league team has won all of there games. They are on a 5 game winning streak and currently in 1st place. Their best game was a 12-0 shutout against the A's. The biggest competition has yet to come. The Mets are a half a game back and 6-o. We meet them in the middle of May and play them 3 times in a row. Those are going to be some great games. Peyton's super league team won their first 2 games they played. The first game their bats came alive and went from being tied to winning by 4. They kept their momentum in the second game and won 12-4. The second week was a rain out and by the looks of the weather report it may be one for the third week too.
Like I mentioned before all of this running from game to game night after night is a bit overwhelming but so worth it. Peyton and Kasen are having tons of fun and they are both doing so great. And Kylie, well......she is doing great too. Every night she asks me "what do we have tonight?" and her eyes light up when I say "nothing". She is such an easy keeper (sort of). She just hangs out and cheers them on. She doesn't know it yet, but when she gets older she will love being around all these boys night after night.
Keep up the good work boys, you are making me proud!!
